About Us
Celestial Cat Sanctuary was founded in 2008 by Matt and Pricilla after the loss of their beloved cat, Miko. Pricilla is a trained veterinarian, and after owning her own practice for 15 years, she decided she wanted to give back to the community in a different way.
After seeing the rise in stray cats and the overflow of cats in shelters, she bought some land with the help of her husband, Matt, and started their journey of rescuing cats in need. They now employ 15 people and have a steady flow of volunteers who help to keep Celestial Cat Sanctuary running smoothly.
Take a scenic drive through the Rocky Mountains until you reach a clearing. Then, take a right at the duck pond and you'll see the beautiful open landscape that has become Celestial Cat Sanctuary.
